Finally getting around to posting this on my blog! While I haven't finished my 5sos CD collection series quite yet, since I've been very busy this year so I'm going to let that go into the new year and post this now since I have the time.

I've been making a top 50 songs list since 2017 so if anyone's interested in seeing those playlists then I'll post them! Let me know what you think! Happy new year :)

as big as a whale i watched you float out to sea and as you got farther, you got harder to see. was it tectonics that rumbled beneath? built you volcanoes for your big eyes to see? what it the ocean or maybe the clouds that made you think bigger and leave me without? until finally you were gone for good. with a heart as big as a car fit for four i’ll miss all the action that i don’t see anymore eyes as big as my hands and your fins as tough as the land that you came from and left from, to never see again. as big as your tail that swam on it’s own pushed me to shore one day and left me alone until finally you were gone for good.

crazy that you used to play this song and i loved to hear you sing along to it and now i listen to it and it saddens me.. i never payed attention to the words before and now they hit me so hard

On Friday, September 16, Downtown Boys, Sex Stains, Try the Pie, and The Smarthearts performed at The Studio at Webster Hall in New York, NY. Although I was scheduled to fly out very early the very next morning, I had to attend this show because I really love the Sex Stains record and it’s been a few months since I saw Downtown Boys last perform live (I was out of town for their June Market Hotel show). I had to stop shooting when I realized that Victoria wanted me to sing the chorus to “Monstro” during their set.
