KING GIZZARD’S GIZZYTOWN!
I’ve had sketches for this bootleg project laying around since late 2022 and I finally dedicated time to it! Over the past month or so when I’ve had free time,I’ve been slowly getting through these little vintage childrens book inspired illustrations. 🐊✨ Fun fact: I went to school for illustration and wanted to pursue a career in books for kids, so doing this fanart feels like a big full circle moment haha! I took a lot of inspiration from one specific illustrator with a whole bunch of my own style and touches in them. I also did a lot of thinking and research on how I’d approach albums + song references, so I hope you enjoy them!
The plan right now is a limited run of 11 x 17 Risograph prints which I’ll have online + at Field of Vision/NYC this summer. I’ve also got some stickers and mini booklets in the works, so keep your eye for the drop!
