for those who have never seen cats - just know the focus of the musical is more on the celebration of dance and music than it is on plot or character development. it's different, beautiful melodies and iconic dance numbers and just a fuck ton of character exposition with just a sprinkle of a ludicrous plot line. it'll be enjoyable for sure, but i think it helps to know what you're walking into
