I’ve maxed the cooking, gardening and fishing skills about a thousand times--so I’ll spare you all watching yet another one of my sims doing that. Here you see the end result of many hours of game play. She mined her chef friends for recipes to save money, and she worked hard every day to keep the promotions coming.

I’m not sure why I didn’t take pictures of Phillip in CAS this time around, but as yet I haven’t done that. So for now you get Erlea, my little honeybee.

I think she’s simply beautiful and it’s hard letting her go. She met the requirements for the challenge by helping her family with gardening and fishing chores during her child and teen years. She concentrated on her cooking skill when she wasn’t doing those things, and managed to complete level 8 of that skill. By reading a few cookbooks from her mother’s collection she was able to complete the Culinary Librarian LTW while still a teen. She plans to become a chef and hopes to have a large family.

Lydia visited Emma Langerak in her new home. She and Parker married after little Glen was born and she moved into the family’s home to carry on their legacy. While Lydia was there she learned a new recipe from Emma. She’s achieved her Lifetime Wish of becoming a Culinary Librarian, but she still has more recipes that she can learn.

While Scot was tending the garden and the toddlers were occupied, Lydia headed to see Emma Hatch at her new home with her husband, Parker Langerak, and family. Emma and Parker had just married and shortly after their son, Glen was born.

Later, Lydia ran into Tori Kimura and her daughter, Xyla Clavell, outside of the grocery store. She had a seat for a bit and chatted about kids and recipes. Lydia couldn’t stay long as it was time for the twins to have their dinner, and Lydia was getting hungry herself.

While Erlea was chatting up the youngest Keaton boy, Lydia was at the Steel’s picking Christopher’s brain for recipes. Despite the fact that he works as a scientist, he loves to cook and knows a plethora of recipes. He is busier these days with twin girls underfoot, but he seems happy as a lark.

Hugh is still diligently pursuing his dream of becoming a Culinary Librarian. Of course he accomplished this task, but there are still many more recipes that he can learn. He wants to learn them ALL!

So, he drops in on his friends quite a lot.

Sometimes that means he has to track them down when they are out running errands.

Happy Birthday, Camellia!

No one in my game ever seems to age up alone, and these two are no exception. As soon as Jay finished celebrating, Camellia blew out the candles on her own cake. She doesn’t seem too thrilled with the aging process, but I’m sure she’ll settle in. Camellia was no slouch in her younger days! She maxed both the guitar and the logic skills, and completed her lifetime wish of becoming a Hit Movie Composer. She has held several autograph sessions and has enjoyed the notoriety very much. And the pink limo! Despite performing at every party and venue she could manage and a skill log showing all of those performances, she still hasn’t completed the Guitar Star Challenge officially. She has, however, completed both the Master Guitarist and Money Maker Challenges. She will keep performing through her retirement and hopefully Super Max this skill before she runs out of time. In addition to these two skills she also just maxed the cooking skill. She is officially a Culinary Librarian and prepares the most amazing meals anyone in the family has ever eaten. On top of all of this, she gave birth to 8 children via 4 pregnancies, with one set of twins and one set of quadruplets, and battled postpartum depression. She has been an amazing spouse to my founder and I couldn’t be happier to have had her in my simfamily.
