Salem: Let the dueling, commence! 

Raven: [gasps] Oh god, I’m so sorry, are you okay?

Gemma: I’m fine. I gotta admit, that was pretty impressive.

Gemma: ....I let you win though.

Raven: Oh yeah, sure!

The heated duel begins. The ache in Coraleye’s chest grew into rage just as quickly as her rage manifested into a tangible charge that rushed to her shaking fingertips, then the tip of her wand like a ball of electricity.

Unfortunately, while building a charge from emotions can be extremely powerful, controlling that charge can prove difficult. Maarvin picked up on that vulnerability and struck while he had the chance.

While Coraleye was distracted by her anger, she was struck to the ground by Maarvin’s very own emotionally-built charge. Maarvin, and his mentor sage, L. Faba, both jumped up and down in celebration.

Coraleye didn’t let him win. In fact, the audacity Maarvin had to indirectly ask her to throw the feud, then jump around in celebration was far too much for her to bare. She quickly arose to her feet and retaliated. 

Coraleye has won the duel.
