Codex: The Hexe
𖤝 According to history, the Hexe appeared a little over a hundred years ago. Born human, this sub-race of people are equipped with the ability to perform Hexerei, witchcraft. Whilst the average supernatural’s power is given, a Hexe must earn their craft through meticulous studying and razor-sharp intentions. It is through the ingenuity and ambition of man, a Hexe can push the boundaries of a mastered sorcery into legendary. Although their magic is looked upon as unnatural and somewhat feared, it is through their expertise that the city of Ravenwood was pulled from the rubble and into the light, catapulting the land into a brilliant empire. In order to continuously push the bounds, a Hexe must perform a practice known as an attunement. Met with a deadly exchange, an attunement is the taking of a supernatural’s life to amplify the spellcasting of a Hexe. The monarchy, afraid of the power balance, has barred the use of attunements, making any practice is punishable by death. However, there are faint stirrings of a rogue group of Hexe that believe they should be allowed to live their fullest potential just as other supernaturals.
Misc. Lore
𖤝 A Hexe is immune to the gifts of the Immortalis. 𖤝 There are three schools of Hexerei: Praktische, Chaos and Trügerisch. A Hexe can study between the three but is proficient in one. 𖤝 Unlike sorceries, Hexerei can fail often resulting in catastrophic events. 𖤝 Grace is a renowned inventor, continuing the work of her mentor to bring the city to glory. She is the mastermind behind floating airships and homes. 𖤝 Tomax is the creator of Incarndine, also known as Plasmafruit.
