Melissa: Are you awake too?
Eduard: The move wore me out, Melissa. I'll go to bed in a moment.
Melissa: Come, have a drink with me.
Eduard: I'm not in the mood.
Melissa: (sigh) … You're never in the mood for me lately, neither Ana.
Eduard: And what did you expect? You keep dragging your daughter and me as you please.
Melissa: Are you going to start again? I thought we had already made that clear, Eduard. Besides, this will be the last time.
Eduard: (chuckles) You said the same thing last time, and the time before, and the time before...
Melissa: I don't want to argue again for the same thing. I see why Ana has that temper.
Eduard: Well, you should think about looking a little more like your daughter, or at least understand that it is not good for a teenager to move for the fifth time in a year.
Melissa: Edward, it's my job! And thanks to that, we can continue to have this lifestyle. Someday she will thank me for all the effort I’ve put in.
Eduard: Well, I hope she does, but if not... don't regret it later.
Melissa: What happened to us? Sometimes I don't know you.
Eduard: Honey, that's the same thing I've been asking myself for years. We're just a couple of strangers with a daughter together, that's all. At this point in my life, I just want Ana to be happy, even if that means sacrificing my own happiness.
