I was reminded of the wonderful podcast They Say A Lot of Things (@tsalotpod) and I realized, I never posted this picture. I think I had planned to shatter glass over it, but nevertheless.
It's a portrait of the Carr family.
Mrs. Georgina Carr (nee Jefferys), the perfect Victorian woman. Demure, already wealthy at the time of her marriage, and willing to let her husband shut her and her children away like porcelain dolls.
Martha Carr, the younger sister, who loved her stuffed giraffe and had less a wild heart than her sister. She always seemed unhappy to me.
Caroline Carr, the elder sister, who was often of two minds by the end of her life, and had a burning passion for adventure. She is the main character of the podcast, a hundred years after her death.
And Charles Carr, a proper Victorian gentleman. Cold, unfeeling towards his family, and willing to do awful things for the sake of his reputation.
(It's subtle /s, but I have opinions on the Carr parents)
Check out They Say A Lot of Things if you haven't already. They just finished their first season and they did a fantastic job.
