hey i saw the post about high poly CC. do you know if changing the games settings to be worse quality will use the lower LODs? or if its only camera zoom in. cause otherwise i might have to download blender and massacre some CC.
You know what? That’s a great question. I assumed so, though I couldn’t find any webpage that definitely confirmed that, so now I’m not totally certain!
LODs (Levels of Detail) are often used to take strain off of your CPU by subbing in lower poly meshes for distant objects in a scene. My guess--and again, take it with a grain of salt--is this move would also apply if you lowered your graphic settings. But in that case, it’d lower ALL meshes’ LODs in addition to things like lighting, reflective surfaces, etc. which can also be toggled.
If you wanted to be certain, test it out in your game! And report back, I’m curious now, too.

Sure do! All CC that I consider active will have two download links: SFS and Dropbox. If the post does not have any download links or only a SFS link, it’s likely I have retired/stopped supporting that CC.
