The Sunshine Court being a trilogy just means Nora is treating this story with care and wants the final product to be as fleshed out as possible. It means Jeremy’s backstory is somehow more complex than we thought. It means Jean and Jeremy’s relationship is a slowburn but maybe they kiss in in the second book and figure stuff out in the third (i.e., Jeremy’s family, Jeremy’s captaincy, Jean’s past trauma and his healing.) It means we get another two books of Jean learning to live because he wants to. It means another two books of You’re place is here with me, with us. I’m you’re captain. You’re my partner. We’re supposed to be doing this together, aren’t we? Stop leaving me behind. Look at me.

I feel like people are missing the point that Jeremy is also just like Neil and that’s why we have his perspective as well.

He’s like pointedly ignores his past and life problems or conflicts. He’s just living through the momentum and enjoys pretty eyes of a French boy.

Some shit went down with his family? Who cares. Live the moment or you’ll miss out on that ass.

i liked it so much when I saw that tsc was a double pov because it's so interesting to see jeremy's pov. like me reading what jean was going through was super sad yes but i already knew that kind of thing happened. now for jeremy, that's unthinkable, he's FREAKING OUT i was like mannn

Unfortunately i am yet again thinking about neil josten lying on the court floor trying to catalogue his injuries and figure out if the ravens have sentenced him to death with a career ending injury.

Its almost worse than neil accepting his fate to die as nathaniel in Baltimore. Like when he was snatched by lola neil was still planning to leave at the end of the season and turn himself in to the fbi. He didn’t see a real future.

But in fall of 2007. Hes vice captain. The freshmen hate him but he can play exy and hes working on the freshmen presumably. Hes majoring in math. He gets to practice with kevin and andrew every night. Like he has a future he can feel the weight of the Olympic medal around his neck and in an instant thats all in jeopardy. Ichirou will kill him if the ravens have ended neil’s exy career before it even really started. I just cannot imagine the like fear of having the entire future he thought was secure be suddenly in danger because the ravens are crashing and burning.

Terrified that Nora drops The Golden Raven before finals are over. I know it’s unlikely but if she does I’m literally just going to fail lol.
