what's crazy about aftg as a series is that it has me (a non sports fan) genuinely frothing at the mouth to see fictional sports players play a fictional sport.

specifically fictional lesbians because ever since i saw THIS line

i have wanted to see cat and laila play SO badly. like yes we saw a bit in jeremy's pov of the foxes v trojans game, but i wanna see it from jean's. i wanna see the defense lesbians play from a player ON the defense line. i wanna see the roommates play together so bad! like imagine jean, who was (iirc) disliked by the raven defense line, getting to play with a defense line he not only trusts, but gets along with.

like laila in particular is called out several times as being the best goalkeeper the team has had to date and im SO excited to see just how good 'good' is up close!!
