Bonjour! You might be wondering what happens when today’s top fashion & beauty social media influencers and industry leaders gather together to celebrate passion, creativity and influence of blogging. It’s definitely an experience every blogger couldn’t afford to miss and I’d love to share with you what happened at the very first E! Bloggers Ball that I attended together with Clozette last Thursday, September 29, 2016 at the City of Dreams Manila Grand Ballroom.
Together with other bloggers and personalities in the fashion and beauty industry, we were welcomed with a fabulous red carpet and photographers waiting for us to strut our way and flaunt our formal attires. As bloggers love to get their picture taken, there were three photo stops before we enter the main reception hall- the white paper flower wall was definitely my favorite! Entering while walking down the red carpet was filled with no less of style and glamour.
The hall was dressed up in classy black and white with a dash of gold for sparkle! It was filled with good music by Reese Lansangan and a scrumptious dinner was served together with white wine. I shared a table with my fellow Clozette-Blogger Babes friends.
After the dinner, Metro Magazine Editor-in-Chief Sarah Meier gave a talk about her experiences in the industry and inspired the crowd with her advice. Afterwards, several bloggers were awarded and E! Stylist Inc. launched its second season that will start airing on October 24.
Of course, the night is not just about the glamour and style. It was also about connecting with friends who share the same passion as I have. Thankful that I finally met these gorgeous Clozette-Blogger Babes.
Special thanks to my best friend, Jozelle for being my (forever) plus one!!
Bonjour! With this post’s title I bet you already know the main star of my #OOTD. It’s all about DENIM :) This is actually my first time to wear a denim on denim outfit. They say that there are a lot of do’s and don’ts when it comes to wearing an all denim look but let’s make it a little easier. Here’s some of the tips on how I wore this outfit combination.
TIP # 1: BALANCED SHADES OF DENIM
One thing that I observed when it comes to wearing denim on denim is to combine two different washes, shades or textures of denims in your outfit. There’s this “general rule” that lighter shades of denim emphasize the body part it covers while darker shades of denim create a slimming effect.
TIP # 2: LESS IS MORE
Combining denims requires a more simpler look. I didn’t wear any jewelry to keep the whole outfit simple. If you want to accessorize, a simple jewelry will do.
TIP # 3: ADD COLOR
I wore a pair of black chunky heels sandals and a black purse to complete the look. Solid and bold colors complement denim on denim.
Wearing a double denim could be a no no for others but can also be absolutely amazing if done right. I hope these tips are helpful to your next denim on denim #OOTD. If you have more styling tips on wearing this look, feel free to leave comments. I would love to hear from you too.

Bonjour! How are you my dear readers? I hope you’re all feeling wonderful! For the past few months, I was busy with a lot of things but I’m glad that I had the opportunity and time to shoot for a new style post! Hooraaay!
This is not the usual style post that I’ve done before where I just share how to mix and match clothing pieces for a great outfit. In this post, I’ll be talking about confidence and stepping out of your comfort zone.
“Put on some red lipstick and live a little”
As a fresh grad, I realized that there will be infinite opportunities and challenges that will come. This is the time where I want to try and take every opportunity. The only question is, do I have the courage and confidence to face these opportunities and challenges?
Entering the so called “real” world is somehow scary. Nothing is certain in the future. Some opportunities might require stepping out of the comfort zone. But on the lighter side, stepping out of the comfort zone will help you in knowing more about yourself, discovering your hidden talents and skills, and most importantly, it will help you grow. Having done something you never thought you can do will give you a feeling of liberation and happiness. No one can tell what exactly will happen in the future but it is always our choice on what path to choose and what opportunities to take. The best days are ahead of us.

Bonjour! It’s definitely summer time- the best time to wear colorful OOTDs! One of my “summer” OOTD favorites are maxi skirts. Nothing compares to the breezy feeling when you wear light maxi skirts. Some say that short girls cannot wear maxi skirts because it will make you look shorter. I definitely disagree!! In this post, I’ll share some tips (some are based from my own experience and some are from articles I have read) on how to wear maxi skirts for short girls like me! :)
Tip #1 is to choose a maxi skirt with a light pattern for you to look taller. Bold patterns and prints could overpower the length of the skirt.
Tip #2 Wear a short top, tuck it in or wear a belt to achieve a more long and lean look.
Tip #3 Wear open sandals. Say no to close shoes like doll shoes when wearing a maxi skirt because you’re legs are already covered, it’s better to show your feet.

That’s it! Three tips on how to wear maxi skirts for short girls. Same rules apply for wearing maxi dresses (Actually there are no rules!). Wear what you want to wear :) Summer is the perfect season to be playful in dressing up. I hope you learned something.

Bonjour! As a college student studying in a university that requires us to wear uniforms, it’s rare for us to get the chance to wear business or corporate attires. That’s why I was really excited when that opportunity came. However, as a student who has little to none of those business attire pieces in my wardrobe, I had the dilemma of dressing up for this occasion. What I will be sharing to you (especially to those students with the same dilemmas) today is how to match casual pieces to have a classy corporate look.
First thing you must have in your closet is a nice blazer. Having this basic piece of clothing in your wardrobe could save you from a lot of trouble-- it can be used for casually chic outfits to formal attires.
[Turquoise blazer: Forever 21]
Second staple for this kind of outfit is a beautiful dress. Combining blazer and a dress make the whole look effortlessly corporate.
[Dress: Nita, Wallet: SM Accessories]
Lastly, you don’t need killer heels for this outfit! What you need is a pair of heels that you’re comfortable with.
[Shoes: Payless Comfort Plus]
[Glasses: Sunnies Studios]
That’s it! Blazer + Dress + Pair of heels. Just three casual pieces for your next corporate outfit!
