so in the last couple of months two families i know have had children come out as trans, and i’ve offered to help the families find resources. aside from not always remember what i wish i would have known when i came out - i’m finding a lot of resources about parenting trans children that are written by cis people, or published by cis-led organizations.
does anyone have recommendations on parenting resources
1. written by trans people
2. published by trans-led orgs
TSER is there obviously, but i’m looking for resources for parents rather than teachers? and PFLAG & Gender Spectrum both seem pretty cis-lead.

Your monthly reminder Eli Erlick is a rapist and she even admitted to it so she really has no excuse to be in education and UCSC has no excuse to have her on payroll.

Friendly reminder that the application for the 2019 Trans Youth Leadership Summit is still open!
Trans Youth Leadership Summit (TYLS) is a collaborative fellowship program providing young transgender people the opportunity to work toward liberation through collective organizing for solidarity, advocacy, and empowerment. TYLS fosters the skills of dozens of emerging Trans and Gender-nonconforming leaders and puts them at the forefront of critical issues transgender people face. We are bringing together revolutionary young trans leaders to heal from transphobic violence, build communities, learn how to enact restorative justice, and create direct action.
TYLS looks toward root causes rather than simply covering up the effects of anti-transgender violence.
