Danielle was a tourist to Russia. It was somewhere she had wanted to visit for a while because of the wondrous things she had heard of it’s churches and palaces. Most people had thought her insane to visit such a country but surely not all Russians were as bad as the stories she had heard. 

It was snowing this day and there was something so magical about it that the blonde walked around in awe. That was why she hadn’t seen the man who was walking in her direction until she accidentally walked into him. “Oh, I’m so sorry, I wasn’t looking where I was going.” She explained, hoping he could understand her apologies.

Since the day began at 4 AM that morning, Alexei had been riddled with pain, mostly from his boating accident a few weeks ago, that had been a nightmare.’ It hurts too much to sleep..’ His voice had gone quieter, said he was trying to whisper to her and didn’t want to be caught by his mother, who seemed to be practically everywhere.’ Can’t you just stay with me Anya?         IT WAS NO wonder Alexei was so spoiled. Even now, she found she couldn't say no to him. He looked miserable, and the face he was making at her would have pulled at anyone's heartstrings. So without much of a fight, Anya relents. ❝I'll stay until you fall asleep, alright?❞ It wasn't particularly hard. She hated to see her brother in pain, and after the scare he had given them all, it was too easy to give in to whatever demands he made.  If he were better she might have been a little more stubborn, but for now, she just wanted him to be comfortable. As she settles beside him, she drapes her arm over his stomach and hugs him close. ❝Things will get better, Alexei. Tomorrow is another day.❞

Alice stayed frozen where she was, she almost felt like she was glued to the spot. What he said took her by surprise to say the least and she wasn’t exactly jumping to do as he said.

Alice was rather disorientated when Alexei woke her up and it took her a moment or two to workout what was going on. When she realised that he had had a nightmare, she hugged him back and rocked him gently to try and clam him down a little.
