Her face lit up as she brought the sandwich closer to his lips. Then a loud laugh and cheer followed suit as she took the deciding bite of going on with her dare. At first she never understood why humans enjoyed such jests, but now it made full sense. If her heart would she would have another dare of sorts, but for now she needed to amend for her evil doings.
Quickly she scurried away to the kitchen for a glass of water, and handed it to him to help try and get rid of the horrid taste she could imagine was sitting on his tongue. “You’re free to rinse out your mouth over in the sink as well. Maybe some snacks would help? I have a bunch of cookies.” She patted his shoulder with her free hand and gave him an apologetic look that sat alongside a gaze full of laughter, “I’m very happy actually, and very sorry. I won’t make you do that again anytime soon.”
