How would Vance react if mc got hurt or a cut and went like “can you kiss it to make it feel better :(“ (as a joke, but if ya want it also could be srs)

oh he'd be overjoyed! it's such a cute thing to say, really - just letting him kiss you would make him swoon, not to mention the implication that he could make you feel better. he'd be too lovestruck to even consider it may be a joke (also would probably find it romantic if he could taste your blood a little)

man, this ask has been sitting in my inbox for far too long considering what a great question it is... the short answer is "it depends". he may be a deranged masochist who loves so obsessively it overrides basic dignity and a large part of his survival instinct, but even this doesn't render him immune to pain, or to plain animalistic fear.

the real question is, how would you stab him?

make it slow and i doubt he'll even resist. or, at least, he'll resist as little as his body allows him to. he'll be happy to feel something real; so overwhelmingly real it drowns out everything else. the pain will be a lot, but to him it'll be about more than just the pain; it'll be about you. he'll whine a lot, he may even try to push your hands away - not out of his own will, more out of a basic survival instinct that he'll immediately apologize for - but he'll never tell you to stop. 9/10.

but if you make it fast and sudden, he'll be startled. terrified. in agony. of course. this isn't love, it's self-defense. a rejection, in a way... which is not to say he won't have some appreciation for it, once the immediate danger passes and primitive fight-or-flight gives way to more complex feelings. all this blood, all this pain, all for you. isn't this a kind of luck, too? isn't it the kind of luck he deserves? 4/10.
