The ending of The Stillness of the Wind made me emotional and I just wanted to share the nail in the coffin that wreked me.

Look, I was already quite attached to Lazlo (I hope I'm not mistaken the merchant's name). He's the only other person you see, obviously, but he's also very kind, worries about you and your family and you go way back. I wasn't sure if he had a lil’ old crush on Talma or if he was just like that with people. When the storm started and I was seeing the game was coming to an end with Talma's life I was already a bit emotional, especially thinking that my daughter was coming with that big storm going on. Talma was coffing, alone, starting to forget... I wasn't counting on Lazlo coming at all when I hear him and he comes running!! In the middle of a big ass storm!!! And Then he confesses in such an absolutely beautiful way???? And he brings my daughter's last letter???? I was emotional, to say the least. Then, when the ending comes and the last image appears and I see Talma and Lazlo standing together on the farm... She was thinking about that, she wanted that. Maybe it was because he had been the only person she had been seeing in who knows how long and everything, but he mentions when things are coming to an end a bit before confessing something about a night under the moonlight. I want to think that it was reciprocated and had been for as long as he was feeling it too, but things got in the way, as they tend to do. The details, as they tend to be in this game, are up to your imagination. Who knows, maybe he was the father of Talma's twins after that night, especially since you don't know anything about their father as far as I've seen.

So, I’ve started a series where I’m writing songs about people. For @books-of-lunacy‘s song, she requested that I just write a song about hope. About being hopeful or things that make me feel hope... just... hope.
