“Thanks, Asui.” You waved to her as you walked away. You figured you’d just head back to your classroom ten minutes earlier than normal. You opened the door to the class, seeing no one inside you strolled in and took your seat. You laid your head on the hard wooden desk and sighed. You closed your eyes, resting as you waited for the first bell.
The door creaked open and there was a pause of footsteps. You raised your head up to see Mr. Kan. You dropped your head back onto the desk, glad it wasn’t Kosei. “Everything alright? You’re here early.” You just held up and thumbs before letting it drop. You heard a heavy sigh before ruffling of papers. You sat still in relative silence.
The first bell sounded through the building not long after. You kept your head down as your classmates entered the class.
“(Y/N)?” You ignored him. As soon as the class started you sat up, intent on distracting yourself from him. Writing down notes on things you weren’t even working on at the moment.
The last bell rang, signaling the end of the day. You grabbed everything off the desk, as you rushed out of the room you made eye contact with him. He was also getting up fast, most likely to follow you. Getting lost from his view in the crowd of others trying to get to the dorms.
You fast-walked into the dorm, lightly using your quirk to make it faster. You kicked your shoes off and shoved them into your cubby, running in past the common room and heading up the stairs. You took a deep breath as you made it to your floor, believing that you made it to safety. Begging to walk forward, you walked straight into a solid air wall. It didn’t take long to know what it was from, the heavy breathing from behind you gave it away.
“What do you want, Tsuburaba?” You didn’t even turn to look at him, you shoved away from the building tears in your eyes.
“Please listen to me, sweetheart.”.
“I don't really think I want to.” You stared at your room door, craving its comfort.
“(Y/N).” He walked closer to you, and you sucked in a deep breath holding back the tears threatening to pour over like a waterfall.
“Tsuburaba, I don’t want to get expelled for hurting you.”
“Then don’t. Just listen.” He stepped forward again and you turned towards him.
“You have a minute to explain before I leave.” If he didn’t move the barrier, there was still a balcony.
“Look, I thought you wanted to hide our relationship!” You scoffed and crossed your arms. “They were starting to expect I was dating someone so I thought the only way to keep us hidden was to flirt with someone!”
“What in your right mind made you think the was a smart idea?” Your chest tightened in anger, how dumb could he possibly be with an idea like that?
“I guess I didn’t really think it through.” He looked towards the ground and you scoffed, making him look down.
“Obviously not! You know what? I’m out of here.” You flew up, trying to get around him, his hand grabbed onto your ankle, pulling you down by moving one hand after the other. You didn’t retaliate or anything, you didn’t have the energy to do so.
“(Y/N), I’m so sorry!” He held onto your hips pulling you down until your feet touched the ground.
“You really think that’s going to patch everything up?” You pushed his hands off of you, taking a step back from him.
“No…”
“Exactly.”
“Please, let me make it up to you.” You rolled your eyes, you weren’t getting anything through his head.
“How do you expect to do that? You realize I don't exactly trust you at the moment.”
“Another chance? I’ll let everyone know about us.”
“Tsuburaba, that’s not what I want.”
“What do you want?”
“I want a boyfriend that I’m not worrying constantly if he’s flirting with someone or not.”
“I only did it to keep us a secret!” He raised his tone of voice, again. You sucked up any bit of tear that threatened to spill out at this point. You could hear your other classmates coming into the building.
“There you go again. Don’t justify a mistake you are guilty of making.”
“You’re right. I’m really sorry okay?” He got on his knees, looking up at you.
“Please don’t do this.” You almost felt guilty for him, you knew you were wrong to. But you loved him so much.
“Give me another chance?”
“I don’t know.”
“I’ll prove myself to you.”
“Kosei.” Your eyes began to tear up again, you watched a few of the girls peek around the stairwell corner.
“I’ll do anything for you.”
“You are the worst!” You sniffled as he begged, he moved closer to you.
“Please, I’ll do more, try harder, be better!”
“A few things if we are going to make this work.”
“Tell me, anything.”
“We are starting fresh.”
“Thank you!”
“Ah! I’m not done.”
“I will probably never forget what you’ve done. One slip up like that and we’re done for good. I shouldn’t even be taking you back.”
“I understand.”
“Another thing, we are starting as friends. You’ve got to earn my trust back.”
“I will.”
“Good, now can I go lay down? I’ve had enough stress for today.” He nodded opening his arms for a hug but you only put out a hand, pressing it to his chest to keep him away. You shook your head and dropped your head. You weren’t ready for that.
