Hello everyone! I finally finished the second chapter. There aren't any weird dreams yet, but I tried to give a little bit of a plot twist. I hope you enjoy it.

reader is in general studies but also iida’s friend and they run into him in public while he’s with his mom and brother and they momentarily panic because if they had known they’d be meeting his family they wouldn’t have come out wearing cargo shorts and a shirt that shows their whole arm tattoo!
oh but what’s this? turns out he’s actually talked about them, especially what a skilled artist they are. and apparently they look exactly how he described them, whatever that means 👀👀
Was watching TenSura when I saw this so I had a bit of inspiration but I've been on a brain block for a while so it's basically slop 😀✌🏽

You and Iida have been friends for a while, which some would say is quite unexpected since he's in the infamous hero class 1A and you're in general studies. That being said, you've also always had feelings for him that go beyond just friendship, though you'd never admit it, even to yourself. Which is why meeting his family in an overcrowded mall, wearing nothing but cargo shorts and a shirt with short enough arms to show the tattoo covering most of your left arm.
"oh, hello dear! You're /Name/ yes? Ah, Tenya has said so much about you!"
"mother!"
Tensei laughed at his younger brother as he faced you. "its nice to finally meet you. Tenya has been talking about you for a while. Oh I'm Tensei by the way-"
"ah, yes I know... Um, Tenya's been talking about me?" you couldn't seem to stop the stupidly bashful smile that graced your face at the thought.
Then again he could be saying bad things-
"alright that's enough! Mother, Tensei, you are sharing personal and intimate information to which you have no right in doing so!"
Tensei chuckled as he glanced at his mother then back at you. "it's mostly always about how skilled and talented you are as an artist."
"and it seems you really do have an eye for art. Tell me dear, what does theta tattoo symbolise? Is it something special?"
"oh well-"
"mother, you cannot ask such intimate questions directly, it is deeply personal-"
"oh? But just a few days ago you were talking about how you would love to ask her about her favourite pieces of art,- "
Tenya begun sputtering, trying and failing to stop his brother from spilling more secrets. You were so invested in their squabbling that you got startled when their mother wrapped her hands around your arm, murmuring.
"you know, you look exactly how he described you."
You wanted to ask what she meant by that, how did he describe you, did he really talk about you that much? But of course, you didn't get the chance.
"might I remind you that we have places to be. We're short on time so let's get going now!"
"ah come on now Tenya, we have almost an hour left. Don't you want to spend more time with your classmate?"
"LET'S GO!"
Mrs. Iida patted your hand as she walked off alongside Tensei and Tenya turned to you, eyes downcast and face red. "I-i shall see you in school then /Name/!" And then he ran jogged off behind the other two.
What a weird family, you didn't even get a full sentence in. ... But at least Tenya seems to reciprocate your feelings.
chapter 21 of AIEW is up now! shouto is back at ua after his hellish summer break (and bakugou appears for a very slight development on the tdbktd front). shouto also snoops through touya's things and makes a reallyyy bad decision. (and togachako is being undoomed in the background of all the angst because they will !!not!! end up with their canon ending)
I like before Dr. Tsubasa was revealed to be Garaki EVERY FIC I'VE READ has Garaki being Tsubasa in disguise.
