Some Naruto lore I have absorbed from looking into Naruto Shippuden Ultimate Ninja Heroes 3:
Tsukigakure (Hidden Moon Village) is incredibly vertical. Like, unbelievably so. I thought Kumo was vertical because of all of those tall rocks, but this entire village is built on one hugely tall cliff. To be closer to the moon, maybe?
Everyone who is depicted as being from Tsukigakure is brown, which is fun (including Tsukino, the current Village Chief who inherited the title from her father, because it's also kind of a monarchy)
Everyone kept calling Tsukino Sato-sama, which in the context of Naruto villages feels kind of like they're saying, "Ms. Village (Respectful)", and that is very sweet. Imagine if when Kakashi was Hokage they just called him "Mr. Konoha."
Moon Flowers are used by Tsukino both for medicine (the leaves) and as a perfume that can be used to dispel genjutsu (the petals).
Part of their established village traditions are to be welcoming of strangers because of a legend in which someone from an unknown land ended a war within Tsukigakure. One of the rare pro-foreigner lands in the ninja world!
