Unfortunately, telling Trost that he needed a bath had a 00.69% chance of ending the world from his sheer hatred of bathing. And thus, in an alternate universe, Tsuki was falling into the Void all over again.

“A NEW KEEPER HAS ENTERED THE VOID, AND ANOTHER GAME HAS BEGUN!! IT SEEMS... THEY’RE FALLING ABOVE... THE NOBODY’S GARDEN!”

Niemand didn’t know why he bothered trying to slip into the theater. It was one of many places off limits to him, and of course, being caught there only resulted in trouble. Jemand couldn’t be bothered punishing him at the moment, so naturally, he sent Todlich to deal with the problem. And the assassin was more than happy to destroy each plant he came across, regardless of how Niemand was trying to stop him.

“CUT IT OUT!! CUT IT OUT!! STOP! I’VE BEEN WORKING HARD ON THESE!!”

“Cutting ‘em out is the damn point! Get the fuck back or I’ll cut you too--”

Laut’s announcement stops him, though, just as Niemand tries to tackle him... and is unable to get him to budge. The assassin’s eyes turn toward the sky. A new Keeper is always a greater priority to him than tormenting anyone else -- and he’s been looking forward to upping his score.

       Sighing quietly to herself with a broom in hand, Edna began sweeping up the mess her beloved pooch Bean had made. Being a short and stout little corgi, Bean wasn’t exactly the most coordinated dog- as he had accidentally run right into Edna’s legs while she was trying to get a glass of water, causing her to stumble and drop it.

       Edna couldn’t be mad though, the poor thing clearly felt bad, whining softly as he backed away from the scattered glass shards. Giving his rump a light tap with her foot, Edna chuckled, “Don’t feel too bad, Beanie. I know you didn’t do it on purpose. But you know better than to run inside, don’t you buddy?”

       But before she could finish sweeping, she heard feet stamping against the tile floor behind her, along with the excited shout of her friend, Tsuki, who’d evidently decided to leave the livingroom to come join her. Instinctively, Edna tossed the broom aside and swooped up the female into her arms, hoping to avoid Tsuki getting cut on any glass.

       “Oi, careful there Tsu.” she said gently, continuing to hold the other snug in her arms, “Bean broke a glass. I’m not quite finished cleaning it up yet, so there’s still pieces everywhere. I don’t want you cutting up your feet.”

“Freya, wait!” He called out to his young daughter, who was running and giggling like a mad woman.. unfortunately, the poor girl didn’t watch where she was going, and she ran directly into another girl, bouncing off her and landing on her butt.

“Oh no, Freya..” He said, before he approached. “Hey kiddo, you okay?” Then looked up at the other. “I’m sorry about that. We were playing and she didn’t see where she was going.”

Disregarding anyone else’s potential interest, Ruki strode deliberately down the book aisle.  At a pace that matched his brisk, steady feet, his eyes traveled over book spines in search of the book he sought.  Aha, there it was.  Ignoring any others’ potential interest in it, he plucked the rare book from its shelf.  In decidedly good condition, it was worth purchasing a decent book on Artemisia Gentileschi.
