Oh heck, I had the same experience as eleanor when i was a kid! Was really bad but it sometimes happens, though it can easily be avoided if you have people confirm their attendance beforehand!

THATS AWFUL IM SOBBING see this is half the reason i never had any proper parties as a kid- especially because my birthdays in august so most of the time people were on holiday anyway omfg

Can I ask what emulator you’re using? I tried to use chankast and stuff but the game just runs weird most of the time @-@

I use nulldc. So far the only game that has worked moderately well is Sonic Adventure. Even then, scripted moves like on Emerald Coast and Windy Valley seem to glitch out to the point where I fall off the map. Speed Devils never shows the main menu and freezes when it loads tracks and Ready 2 Rumble has a flashy screen throughout the whole game that I feel like would give me a seizure.
