Male Idol tropes - A discussion series

Hey guys!

I’ve been interested in analyzing male idol series tropes for a long time since there are a lot of recurring themes and situations in various male idol series. I realized that even though this is the case, I still like certain idol series more than I do others and always wondered why that is.

I need help generating some of those tropes and have a few written down already (such as the sick character, character looking for his family, rich kid, etc). This was originally going to be a one post deal, but that would be a mega long write up XD

what's the difference between the katakana way and kanji way of tsuki no uta?

I get that by writing it in 2 alphabets, it would have different meanings, but what are those meanings?

for someone who only had one class of Japanese and quit mid-way, I understand that both names would kind of equivalent to "song of the Moon"?

but I'm really curious and I haven't seen anyone explain or talk about it so I'm just gonna ask you guys instead
