When Kuroo had arrived in Hive City, he hadn't expected to run into anyone he knew... In fact, he didn't want to really see anyone he knew from back home. The prospect of his friends being stuck in a social experiment like him made him feel a little uneasy, if anything. Being here by himself made him feel a little uneasy, too. Really, there was no winning in this situation.
There was no winning with holing himself up in his apartment, either. After tucking his golf ball into his pocket and locking up, he left the apartment building and made his way down the sidewalk. Now was a better time than ever to at least find out what was around his neighborhood... Hopefully there was a convenience store or at least a fast food place nearby. As much as it made him unhappy, he had to look for a job, too.
Really, this entire situation sucked.
After turning the corner, Kuroo spotted someone tall... Their hair was blonde, and vaguely reminded him of a dandelion. With a look of bewilderment, he realized that this person also looked like...
"Tsukishima?"
Kuroo strode forward to move in front of the younger man, confirming that it was, in fact, him. Part of Kuroo was thrilled... Even so, his heart sank and his face fell. This guy definitely shouldn't be a part of some social experiment. Didn't he have school to take care of? Or did they have school here? The middle blocker was unsure. Either way, this situation rubbed him the wrong way.
"What are you doing here? Shouldn't you be in Miyagi? What about your team?" He could be asking himself the same thing, he thought with a scowl, but he had retired... That didn't keep a good part of him from missing his team, however. "You really should go home. Can you? Is that even allowed?"
