The Treachery of Beautiful Things|| Ruth Frances Long
“They're only trees. Only trees. Whose afraid of lonely trees?”
Hey guys, this is my first edit/aesthetic ever!!! Had a lot of fun putting it together. The Treachery of Beautiful Things is one of my favorite books and every time I read I love it more. If you like beautiful writing, traditional faerie folklore, A Midsummer Nights Dream, or really good stand-alone novels I would definitely recommend this book.
books read in 2016: the treachery of beautiful things by ruth frances longdon
“Jenny threw back her head and laughed, laughter that rang out through the leaves if the oak tree above them. Jack pulled her to him, to kiss her and whisper her name again. And the oak tree above them whispered back, of love and sacrifice, of a king and a queen, and a future made anew.”
