Time to Pay Up || Grayson and Sophia

Grayson usually didn't have a problem with the mall, but for obvious reasons, he was more reluctant than usual on this particular evening. He parked and got out, running a hand through his hair as he moved to sit down in front of the mall and wait for Sophia, trying to look as collected as possible. If he was going to do this, he was going to go down swinging and do it with as much style and dignity as he could manage. And he was going to do this. Grayson would've expected Sophia to carry through with her end of the bet if he'd won, so it was only fair that he do the same.

Hopefully she'd respect that and try and make the outfit at least a little bit acceptable, but somehow he doubted it. Sophia didn't seem like the type to pull her punches. He had a feeling this was going to be an affront to his pride in the biggest way possible. Maybe, if he was lucky, she'd gone back to her initial idea and he'd just have to go to school dressed as a chicken. That wouldn't be too bad- at least it was ripe for immature jokes about 'cocks'. If he was really unlucky, she'd go with her second idea and dress him as a girl. Or worse. Was there a worse outfit out there? Grayson didn't really want to find out.

Still, on the bright side, this would probably be a great story to tell people later. Outlandish or ridiculous things always lead to great stories, and he loved telling them. ]f you were good at it, and you picked funny stories, it was another way to be the center of attention. Of course, wearing a dress to school was also a way to catch everyone's eye, but not necessarily in the way he usually liked. Man, he really would've preferred to win that bet.

Grayson groaned and leaned back against the concrete steps leading up to the mall's entrance  He'd lost, and there was no point whining about that now. Hey, he'd wanted to do something big and eye catching to finish off his time at Oakview High School. At least this was definitely going to ensure that he was remembered. Besides, if he acted confidently enough about whatever outfit Sophia picked for him, maybe he could convince people that it was just another joke. With enough confidence you could pull off anything, right? He shoved his hands into his jacket pockets and fiddled with the inner lining, wishing Sophia would hurry up. The sooner he got this over with, and saw what exactly he was going to be wearing tomorrow, the better.
