So I ended up rewatching some episodes of Terminator: the Sarah Connor chronicles and I swear, today is the day part 2 always gets to me.
Especially the part where John is telling Sarah that he saw Riley and she's expecting him to understand that it was Cameron.
The way his eyes catches Cameron behind Sarah, the brief flicker, the way he closes his eyes and shakes his head as if he's mentally admonishing himself for not having faith in her.
The way he says that he should have never douted her.
I always get shivers down my spine when Sarah tries to brush it off only for John to harden his voice and tell Sarah not her. Her.
Everything is in that one word. The way he looks at Sarah before he leaves and the expression on Sarah's face.
And it still gets me when Sarah tells Cameron to think about why future John sent Cameron away. You can tell she's trying to destroy the bond between John and Cameron and it just backfires because, yes, future John did send Cameron away from him
He sent Cameron to his past self for a reason.
And mama knows it, and hates it.
(And yes, I might be deep in my Jameron feels again but this episode really showcases John Connor)
