You mentioned having a bunch of Arry and Bert headcanons. Are there any more you’d like to share?
Well, I have already shared most of them, but I'll happily expand previous statements and add more to the pile:
• 'Arry and Bert, for whatever it's worth, don't enjoy scrapping diesels that much. Unless they are deemed to be traitors or never had any use
• to expand on the last bullet point, they have a very deep brotherhood (sorry I don't know what to call it). They are inseparable and would give up nearly everything for the other
• this is just a silly one, but they both like really cutesy stuff. Not many notice that about them though. (Understandable, most are terrified of being scrapped by them)
• they do work in the same scrapping business as they always have, but they haven't been allowed to scrap a full engine for years
• Bert kills their victims, and 'Arry disassembles the body for working parts before melting the rest
• like how I said before, they aren't actually twins (still brothers due to being the same class) but first met while working at a factory. They worked together a good chunk of the time and considered eachother acquaintances, but it wasn't until the factory they worked at shut down and they moved to Sodor that they became so close

Wow okay why are the ghost trio mad at Afton for smashing a coach when Timothy killed passengers, Alfred tried to kill Henry and Gordon and died, and Godred got himself killed by tumbling down a mountain so how do they have the right to be mad at Afton?
They didn't deliberately HURT a coach of their own, Godred and Timothy had the most outright respect for their coaches, Alfred sortve did, so when the two found out Afton went out of his way to actually attempt and successfully KILL a coach then they have every right to be upset, their deaths have nothing to do with the matter either, even if they didn't die they have every reason to be pissed at Afton
To his fellow Skarloey Spirits, Bertram is known for being a total mystery, an enigma; just like his domino mask. Very little is truely known about him or where he originally came from and whenever someone asks about his past, he would also tell them that he doesn’t remember or “it’s a secret.” Aside form this oddity and the possible fact that he may actually be just as old as Duke, Bertram is what Peter Sam and Sir Handel considers the “cool eccentric fun dad or uncle”, while he still tries to guide the younger spirits into doing what’s right and giving advice to the best of his ability; Bertram is very fun-loving, brave and quite entertaining to the point of never ending cheerfulness and also to the bemusement of Peter Sam and Sir Handel, he also seems to have a thing for Duke as well in spite of the fact that the latter seems to be oblivious to it.
Despite these positive traits, Bertram however; harbours a deep dark secret and a horrific past that he hopes no one will ever find out or know. A very long time ago he was an extremely reckless, naughty and rude spirit who went by the name of Smudger. Because he was never able to get over the trauma he went through due to his low social standing as a water spirit and his original crew’s sudden death caused by a shooter, Smudger became a show-off and a rough rider as a way to cope from his trauma and his grief of watching his crew get shot in front of his eyes, one day however; due to a monster slaying that went horribly wrong which costed the life of a young railway worker, the manager decided to turn his engine vessel into a generator and placed isolation spells around the behind of the shed to keep its spirit from leaving his vessel, effectively locking him into isolation as the other spirits treated him like he truly invisible.
The time he spent trapped behind the shed and unable to leave even after the Mid Sodor Railway line was closed, gave him time to reflect over his actions along with his past trauma and grief on the Mainland, wanting a second chance at a fresh start and a new life; Because of that Smudger started wishing and praying endlessly for one more chance to make things right and atone for all the wrong deeds he have done; which was answered when the Creator of the Railway Spirits, Lady came to visit him one night and offer him a second chance by transferring his soul into another empty engine vessel (which happens to be the same as Duke’s), due to his old engine becoming too degraded to be salvage. Immediately accepting the kind lady’s offer, Smudger was transferred into the new engine vessel and woke up as a different spirit with a fresh start and a better life, changing his name to Bertram and earning his title the Old Warrior after rescuing a group of schoolchildren from a rampaging monster. While he is still afraid of what will happened if someone does learn of his true identity; that he keeps locked away with his mask, one thing for sure is that Bertram is a new spirit willing to live every second of his life and learn from his past and mistakes in order to be better than who was before.

Ok cor blimey. This is gonna be a long one. For the sake of this not being infinitely long, I won't include shipping headcannons.
This list includes general and au specific headcannons. It is also very long. You have been warned.
• Big Mickey has talked about his life when he was at Bigg City Harbour once, and never again because Carly and Cranky were a little too disturbed by his description of the events of Mutiny (most of the harbour sets on fire/ blows up and Mickey falls into the ocean)
• Nia was really cold towards everyone apart from Thomas at first because she was incredibly homesick and the rain and cold of Britain was not helping.
• James was the second Sodor resident to gain Nia's friendship. No one but James understands why Nia went to James for help. They have a mentor/ student kind of relationship. So do Gordon and Rebecca, though with them it's even more debatable who's the mentor.
• All of the diesels decorate Sidney every Christmas. This was started a year after the events of the episode "The Missing Christmas Decorations" (Awful episode, I know) because Paxton thought it would be fun to decorate Sidney again. The others thought so too. Sidney likes it even if he never remembers what happens.
• Sidney has an extreme fear of fire, enclosed spaces and abandonment due to the fire at the diesel works.
• D10 feels guilty for accidentally causing the fire at the diesel works, so has shut himself away almost completely. Only the diesels who rest at the diesel works know he didn't disappear.
• Everyone is creeped out by 'Arry and Bert apart from Phillip and Mavis. Mavis finds them annoying and Philip is friendly towards them.
• The Scottish twins' falling out started when Douglas saved Oliver. On the way, he saw scrapped engines resembling his class and got curious. So later, after Oliver was safe on Sodor, Donald asked topham how many of his class were left. None. The twins only had eachother. So Douglas became overprotective of his twin, which irritated Donald to no end, causing multiple fights, leading to their fallout.
• Ryan has a snooty, prideful farce that he puts up as to fit in with his family (gresleys). He is sweet and kind once you get to know him though. Daisy was the first to see past the mask, hence their firm friendship.
• Diesel has a soft spot for his brothers. And ducks. And musicals (Chicago). But he'd rather get sugared diesel then let that come to light.
• 'Arry and Bert still work as scrappers. Bert kills the victims and 'Arry dissects the corpses for parts.
• Den is actually rather smart, it's just that whenever he explains stuff, he always uses far too complex terminology for the others, so Dart always has to explain what he means to the them.
• The worst behaving trucks are always the ones who's faces are borrowed.
• Henry's body was switched with a badly behaved black stanier (the misbehaver's face was swapped out for Henry's). Due to this, Henry can see some memories that are not his, and often feels uncomfortable in his new shape, as it was never truly his to take, and his own self will forever haunt him.
• Redward indeed happened.
• While we're on the Eddie train, he also has a hankering for chips and squawks (laughs) like his namesake.
• Both Sidney and James have burns from accidents (Sidney's are due to the fire in the diesel works, and are all over his body and improperly healed. He didn't have much to do for the 2 years he was up on that flatbead, and James's are from his first day on Sodor, and cover his limbs)
• Every Gresley feels like they have a legacy to fulfil. Apart from Henry. Henry was a failure undeserving of a legacy. Henry has self esteem issues. Who'd have guessed.
• Cranky had really bad depression and anxiety before he became friends with Carly and Mickey. Now the depression and anxiety are a little bit more manageable.
• Sidney, Paxton and Norman came to Sodor on the same boat, so share the deepest bond with each other. That's why it hit so hard when Sidney couldn't remember them anymore. Norman also kept count of how long Sidney was kept up there (that's actually canon I'm screaming).
• Due to the treatment of Sidney, most of the diesels don't trust Sir Topham Hatt. Diesel 10 hates him.
• Lady was cast down from her godly position because of her deteriorating mental state from seeing her beloved creations be scrapped as if they had no thoughts or feelings.
• Thomas was trusted with Lady's old duties along with Rusty, as they had had a good relationship with her before.
• Sonny has scars on his face from some of Baz and Bernie's more physical threats.
• Sonny and Skiff are good friends due to their similar pasts.
• Dilly is slightly immortal. She has outlived most of the Fat Controllers and plans to continue to do so until the Little Western is no longer in service. On that day, she shall huddle up in Donald's cab and assist him in the afterlife.
• The logging locos went insane on misty island, but eventually had to be transported to Sodor because their logging company was found out to be a crime front. The criminals were arrested soon after.
• Nearly all of the main cast (barring Emily and Duck) need therapy. Actually most Sodor engines need therapy. Don't worry, they're just a little fucked up.
• Most engines have no concept or understanding of traditional gender roles or the gender binary. They are sexless beings after all.
• The engines can get unofficially married. Toby and Henrietta are married. But the engines aren't really supposed to have deep feelings, let alone romance, so romantic love between engines is rather taboo outside of Sodor.
• Rebecca and Henry share crippling self esteem issues and love of plant and animal life.
• James actually really likes birds. Especially colourful ones.
• Henry spends most of his time outside of work in the forest. Rumour has it he's become part of the flora. Either way, he likes dragging people he trusts into hours spent in the woods identifying animals and plants with the tattered wildlife books his fireman once gave him.
• Literally everyone is autistic. C'mon, they're trains. The headcannons write themselves at this point.
• In addition to probably being autistic, Percy, Bill and Ben are dyslexic. So is Diesel, but no one's found out because he's also illiterate. So much for being the future.
• Duke lives at the castle.
• Smudger is waiting for when he can come back again to seek revenge. Unfortunately, a particular Irish SR member will make that slightly harder.
• The engines can switch between engine form for work and humanised form for out of work very easily.

Platonic
Rebecca likes to check in on her friends or co workers, she likes to try and talk to them to get their mind off of things if they seem down or need some one to cheer them up, or (with permission ofc) she'll randomly go up to them and hug them if they seem to be having a bad day to try and help, and if she happens to be friends with them or knows where they live and they ARE sad that day, she won't hesitate to run over and spend the whole day or night just cheering them up or taking them out on milkshake runs just to try and make things better for them, because quality time does help alot even if your just silently enjoying each other's company without saying a word in comfortable silence.
Romantic
Rebecca loves to give her lover hugs or small kisses when she can, if she just so happens to be at the same station at them while waiting for something she'll approach them with a hug before waiting until no one notices and give a small kiss to them, and if they can she likes to spend time with them even if its not alot of time she likes to make the most of it while she can, physical touch and quality time are totally her love languages even if it doesn't seem like it in public but when they're at home its nothing but cuddles and kisses or simply making cute flower crowns for each other because, hey why not?
A funny headcannon i had for the longest time for my diesel locomotives was that Diesel locomotives of any type tend to rev they're motors when excited, happy, laughing, nervous or some times scared and often times let out small clouds of black smoke from they're fans or vents (as seen in vid) when flustered,annoyed and other emotions i could list (but for now keepin it short)

Noticing how their isn't many Human Toad designs bc people dunno wether if he should have a wheel chair or not because he's so often seen being moved by other's bc he can't move himself here's a small thread of what i headcannon my design of him would be/ go
Human Toad has Leg braces since he is almost always seen being pulled or pushed by another locomotive and cannot move on his own i decided that because of this he has a condiction called poliomyelitis in his legs. Therfore he was given leg braces for this, he can some what stand he just needs something to lean or hold onto to keep himself up which is why Oliver is always with him, to help him either stand or set down as well as other basic things the legs do.
(Again this is my headcannon for him so it might change and etc but here's that)
