Thaddeus was a funeral engine that had come to Sodor a few years ago, he was unique, to say the least. He did sleep in a shed but it was a lot bigger than the other engines cause of his size. He gets taken care of as much as the other engines do but, he does his work and then goes to sleep once all his work is over(he is an old man after all). But at night, he goes hunting and goes and hangs out with his favorite person Maria. His favorite pass time when he's working on the railway is messing with the troublesome trucks(when they don't have goods in them of course).
