Chapter one:The unexpected Change ( Inspired by str33tydr1ft)
Our story begins with Sir Topem Hat Beginning to prepare himself for the day. His mine wonders what will actually happen. Would someone cause confusion and delay, or will things go smoothly? He hope it's the latter half However in all his years If working on the railway nothing could have prepared him for this As he tries to move his arms to grab his hat, only he can't feel his arms.
He can't feel his legs. In fact, none of his body parts can move at all except his eyes.
He opened an eye and then the other instead of his bedroom with his lovely wife, What greeted him is simply a shed door, a very old one by the looks of it.
It's rip holesliding letting in light. He can tell that dawn is coming soon
What in the world? he said in wonder. He looked around the old shed covered in plants and watering wood. A single drip fell from the top. A small plink echo the eyes followed the sound to see a black top hat.
My hat?... MY HAT!!!! He screamed loudly as his eyes were darting at the hat, then, Door and hat and door, and that's when he realized they're on top of a pair of buffers!?! He tried to turn his head as the metal click and clack, He felt fire, but he wasn't hurt nor burning. Steam poured out below him, and then a low whistle came out of him
That made him pause. Looking at the outpouring steam below the way, it resembled a cloud feeling the heat from it but still felt the chill in the air moving his eyes he looked above to see the same smoke as below A small theory formed. remember the whistle sound. He closed his eyes, counted to 3, and then
The sound alone echoes in the shed as steam hiss below him again. That's when the very thought settles in
Okay, I woke up to being in a shed. Instead of my home, and now i'm an engine with nowhere to go. He spoke in bewilment
But how did I get here? He tried to think for a moment, but nothing came to mind. When suddenly He moved forward on the rails
He panicked as he couldn't stop closing the eyes on impact, The doors became splinters, and when he opened them again , all he could see were thick woods surrounding the clearing, With the single line of rails leading to it, He felt scared. He could wait for someone to arrive, but judging by the area, it seems to be abandoned. someone arriving could be quite slim
Looks like I have no choice but to go forward he worryingly said he begins to move forward slowly, but surely he didn't want to break so soon. Into the darkness, he went hoping the light pierce thru.
