Long time followers might remember I started by sharing System Bionicle Set concepts for TTVs Brickonicle project. But there was one last model I built 5 years ago, that I never shared: The Shrine of Water After all these years, I finally finished the last renders.

I wanted to stay stylistically true to how I did all my builds back then. I got out my old render program, files and painted on the makeshift masks like I did back then. This was quite the nostalgia trip and I hope people who remember the old builds feel so as well.

The figures in this model are Gali, Nokama and Guurahk. With Nokama being a first in this model.

I hope I could give you all some nostalgia with this blast from the past!

there is a lot i want to say, but at the forefront of my brain is The Ending. So: spoiler warning for this 1998 release lol

The ending scene was so hilarious and witty imo because yes of course every lesbian in town would be at this socialist workers event. Obviously. Simultaneously, it really ties up the narrative in a fitting, stage performance-like ending for our dramatic performer, Nancy.

It feels intentionally pretty tongue and cheek. Like yes it's kind of ridiculous that literally every ex Nancy has ever had is at this event. And yet... have you met a lesbian? this is exactly what's it's like, for better or worse
