no one:
me: sam is smart, ESPECIALLY with math stuff. that’s established early on in the show w the physics question— granted that is foreshadowing and probably also a result of the accident since the whole show is in sam’s mind/mixed up memories, still she’s the valedictorian and her intelligence is mentioned. so in go tonight when she says “half” three times was it a result of the memory swirl? like she couldn’t remember which two of the three (singing, laughing, going too far) kelly was doing? or was it her grief and state of total shock making it impossible for her to think about anything that’s not kelly? even things it’s assumed she would obviously know
sam: just wanted to make sure that my favourite hot mess is alive. i don't need words, just a response of any sort. okay? i hope you’re alive.
kelly: [deathlike hangover noises]
sam: this is sufficient.
oh hey i put out this cover from one of my favorite musicals this weekend
sam: to quote hamlet, act iii scene iii line 92: “no.”
kelly: i never even finished that book report on people from finland. i never even learned what they're called.
sam: finnish.
kelly: i’m trying!
kelly: strange light in my kitchen so either getting murdered or abducted. will keep you updated.
adam: what if it’s mothman?
kelly: then it’s marriage.
kelly: i have the sharpest memory. name one time i’ve forgotten something.
adam: you left me in a grocery store parking lot two weeks ago.
kelly: i did that on purpose. try again.
