Using a bit of the OG story, how would Around the Edges Edge react to Taylor pushing MC down the stairs? (I think it was. It's been a hot second since I've read the OG.) Since everyone would've known about Taylor at this point, what then?

Edge would need to be held back from killing Taylor for that stunt. He would be furious. He would be seeing red and very little would be able to hold him back.

Taylor's very lucky Mc needed him at that time. Or she would've been dead, along with her little boy toy. She almost killed some he considers his family, and that's not something he can let go of. The human law system be damned.

Around the Edges! Edge... If he caught Taylor belittling her-

He would get between them and throw just as much, if not more, right back at her. With much more sharp words and accuracy.

Taylor would be in tears by the end. Edge would still be furious.

He's not much different. He doesn't like the two, doesn't trust the look of them. He doesn't trust anyone with a higher LV than him, plus the two actually ate Humans. That's fucked up. They're dangerous, and their magic is obviously unpredictable and wild. As far as he's concerned, they're a threat and should be kept from the Human population. They should definitely not be around his Human.

Too bad he doesn't get a say in that.

I keep asking you questions for an AU that you only made two chapters of... on that note.

Around the Edges Edge seems like he'd be very capable of getting Black to see reason, but maybe that's just my take on it. Would this be possible?

Egh, Black can be rather stubborn and at this point the two can really barely get along with each other. Taylor's driving a wedge between the UF brothers and everyone else in the house as revenge for them dumping her, like she did to Mutt in the actual fic.

Black and Edge never really got on well, and there's bad blood from the beginning too. They know how to get along if they have to, and prefer sparing with each other because they have similar experiences and styles, but don't particularly like each other. Even if they're more similar than not.

Edge and MC with Lunar and Grey when they first arrive/reveal themself

Edge wants nothing to do with them, and says so loudly. But Mc still thinks they're friend shaped so he has to get over it.

so I remember you doing a what if for when Edge is your bestie and you get hurt, so what would happen when guns and ace give evidence of Taylor's unfaithfulness? would it be much the same?

Kind of, but then again not really.

Edge's a loudmouth and has no problems speaking his mind, so he had no problems with insulting anyone who tried to cause trouble. Caused him to butt heads with Black on more than one occasion. And in this scenario, it'd happen a lot sooner. Along with having Red, Edge, and Mutt all not a fan of Taylor. Mutt wants Black to be happy, but faced with the evidence it all kind of clicks and he's not going to keep quiet about it. He'll back the claims up and Black won't ignore him.

So everything would end a couple months early and without as much hurt as in the original.

Would you ever make a spin-off story about what if Mutt and MC left sooner? It would be neat to see how the years apart from the lodge affect both parties and to see them discover how bad Talyor is.

That was essentially a plot in The Undertale Collection, specifically They Left.

That's about all I'm going to do for this idea, since I don't have much thoughts on it other than it's going to be real tough for Black and he'll make it everyone's problem then. Because he'll be more of a moody bastard pretending everything's fine.

It'll be hard on Mutt too. He's never lived separate from his big brother before.
