If anyone cares to see how Tucon went for me...

I came to the con looking like Applejack, remember? I knew people would think I was cosplaying. >u>; Oops. 

But Gena is a stunning woman, just so you all know. 

Noodle likes taking pictures together on her phone but then she goes and COVERS HER CUTE FACE NOODLE QUIT DOIN' THAT.

It's okay, she can't cover her face at Toshi's booth.  >u< She was sportin' a kigurumi I brought in case I had the chance to return it. She looked so cute...! <3

Then on the last day I was cosplaying as a sick dog. jk Just stayed in my pajamas. Everyone at the con got to see me at my worst. Toshi even got a picture of that. >3>;

TuCon 2012

OH MY GOD, THIS WAS THE BEST CON I'VE EVER BEEN TO.

I'm not even kidding, this was the most fun I've ever had at a con in a long, LONG time. I have the lovely, amazing and incredibly talented gals of HorseDeer to thank for a lot of that. They sacrificed valuable sleep to stay up all night with the people who were crazy enough to stay awake for 24 Hours- like me.  But not only were HorseDeer awesome, but I met the most enjoyable group of Hetalians ever x3 The costumes were great, everyone was trying to keep their accents up, and they even scored us an "Ask a Nation" time slot on Saturday. I do wish that more people actually asked us questions, but we did get more people than I thought we would. In the end, it was just super enjoyable. 

Now I'm gonna admit right now: sometimes I feel a little lonely at cons. It could be that I don't really like sitting around and doing nothing, even if I am with friends, or it could be because of my personality. Anyone who knows me knows that I am probably the most passive person on the face of the planet. If someone or some people want to break off from me or the group to go do their own thing, I just let them. But really, that does get a little lonely after a while, not having anyone you can really talk to.  BUT the group of Hetalians I met up with, along with inviting me to In'N'Out with them on sight, actually took the time to debate if they wanted to come with me to the Soul eater tea party. I'm serious, there was a mini-conflict over whether or not at least some of them should come in with me, just so I wouldn't feel alone. 

That's a good way to describe my con experience: I never felt alone.  I actually remember thinking while standing in line for the tea party "I don't feel alone anymore." And just... wow

TuCon may not be the best con in the world, but the people I met more than made up for it.

TuCon Animeland Homestuck Gathering Saturday at 12:30pm

The gathering will be run by Ashley and I. 

The Homestuck gathering will be in the pool area by the hot tub and fountain.

The entrance is right between the hotel rooms and con. You can get through the gate with a hotel room card, or go through the front of the con and come out by the pool and take a left.

Rules and Guidelines

We will call people up by group, character, etc. But Save shipping for afterwords.

Please if you bring buckets for some reason, keep it to yourself. DO NOT THROW THEM OR SHOVE THEM INTO PEOPLE'S FACES.

Please don't go crazy with Honking horns, it annoys people and will make people look down on the fandom more

I understand the characters cuss, but this is still a public hotel so try not cuss in front of the kids. I know people are like whatever, but please be respectful.

It's fine if you act like your character, but if you go up to people you dont know please think about their feelings, they might respond back in character or get offended

Do not insult people's cosplays I dont care how bad you think it is, that is rude don't make people feel bad.

Dont scream and be loud please

DO NOT JUMP ON PEOPLE OR JUST HUG THEM UNLESS THEY ARE OKAY WITH THAT.

LAST CON-NI I WAS DISAPPOINTED AFTER THE HOMESTUCKS LEFT THE AREA THERE WAS TRASH LAYING AROUND. PICK UP AFTER YOURSELF. LUCKILY I WAS THERE TO DO IT FOR YOU.

Sorry there are so many rules, but stuff like this does happen and I dont want it to happen here. If you keep disturbing people when you are ask and told to stop, and then asked to leave and still piss people off, I will get con staff and have you removed from the gathering.
