Astronomer Dr. Sarah Kendrew recently alerted us to this cool JWST mirror t-shirt from @cottonbureau, which needs the support of the startorial Universe to be reprinted!

I like how the lines & shadows on the segments recall origami, which is apropos considering that JWST will literally be UNFOLDED IN SPACE.

Even cooler - the image on the shirt was designed by Sarah’s teammate JWST instrument scientist Dr. Nora Lützgendorf!

If you’ve been on Twitter recently (or maybe just not under a rock) you know that “rogue” government agency accounts have taken off in the last few weeks. NASA is no exception. More than just tweeting, they have released a t-shirt design so you can show your support in meatspace!

As of this typing you have just under 8 hours to order your own! Nearly 3,000 have been sold so far, and all designer proceeds benefit awesome organizations Black Girls Code and FIRST (For Inspiration and Recognition of Science and Technology - “More than Robots”!).
