I'll also post Tuff Fodere, since she exudes the most protagonist energy of my main cast.

I drew Tuff when she was a kid. Her parents were...interesting people, them and their training. While this isn't the age she was when they went missing, there's reasons like this as to why she's so casual about whatever happened to them.

BOSS BATTLE: GUNGNIR HALF 2

It took about under a year, but I've finally finished Boss Battle Gungnir.

I've really come to enjoy making comics, especially using my own characters and world, but admittedly I took FAR longer doing this then I did my Eldritch Escape submissions, despite less arguably happening here, storywise.

What can I say? I was trying a lot of new stuff here, especially in regards to posing and genuine combat choreography, Tuff's fighting style was fun to finally show, especially with how good she is at wrecking larger and slower opponents, with a couple of moments here inspired by Sonic and Kid Goku. (I actually came up with the whole idea for this particular fight because I saw some Dragon Ball clips and listened to a Sonic AMV.

...I don't even remember the lyrics anymore, man. If I took any longer, I would've had Tuff roughing this crab thing up while wearing a santa hat, and that's probably what drove me to finish this by Thanksgiving.)

I think the best thing about working on this so far is that I'm fairly confident I've gotten drawing Tuff herself down to an absolute T, to the point of drawing her WAY more often even outside of this scuffle.

I'm still working on this comment, but as the months fly by, I don't wanna seem so inactive as I sit on its completed pages, so I'm trying something new and will start posting it as I work on it since it SHOULD be nearing its conclusion semi-soon if it all goes according to my outline

You know, I don't really do a lot of powerscaling stuff for my OCs, since the answer to who would win in a fight between most, if not all of them depends entirely on who's bringing what to the table and when, but sometimes I remember how physically fucking lethal these rabbits would be in real life when I casually write things like Tuff being able to accidentally crater concrete floors by stomping her feet when she gets mad.

...Actually that reminds me, her being mad and her being enraged are a very, very important distinction to keep track of.

It's a pretty damn bad idea to mess with any sleeping rabbit, let alone one as magical as Klecy. Clem's quiet enough to do it, so getting killed by her for it is entirely a skill issue. (Tuff, thankfully, is fine, she'll just need a bandaid or something.)

I really shot for the moon in regards to this whole thing, trying to put in rising and falling action and all that. It took quite awhile to do all this, and it was a highly educational endeavor on making comics in general, something of which I've always had a passing interest in, but being able to actually make one this long wasn't something I was expecting back when I drew a certain smiling jester in ms paint three to four years ago.

Dotz is made by TH787, and it was fun to draw him along with Tuff, as well as write their dynamic, with Tuff being the more cheerful and experienced one of the duo, and Dotz just kinda wanting to get the hell out of there. The reason they work together is because it was allowed and I couldn't really find an in-character reason for either party to throw the first hit, they actually were intended to have a minor scuffle for the platinum bone that would get interrupted, but there's just no in-character way to have Tuff fighting a teenager trying to get home.

Something I wish I could have improved was most certainly the dialogue, I assure you, it would have been more verbose on the cannibals' part if Krita's text tool didn't suck, and I didn't wanna cover up too much of the actual art in dialogue.

Overall, it was fun, but god damn am I glad the other OCT round I'm drawing for will hopefully be a more simple affair.

I mean I hope so, at least, everything starts off simple at first.

ELDRITCH ESCAPE ROUND 1 ENTRY: PART 1 OF 2

Alright, I've been sitting on it awhile, but I just wanted to finally post my entry in the Eldritch Escape OCT here on Tumblr where it's a little more public.

Due to the image limit, I'll post the rest of it and my thoughts on its general development in a separate post.
