Hey!So last night something kinda awesome happened, someone kindly asked if they could repost my art on ig!It wasn't a v serious piece so I told them yes, thanked them for asking, and got their ig username Anyway,I went on ig just to see a bunch of people had already reposted it hours before without asking. And sure all but one gave me credit, and non of them cropped out my username but does that really make it okay?It feels nice to be validated but also they're getting like from my art, advice?
Yeah, art theft is never okay. I usually just leave a comment on the reposter’s post saying “no reposting please”, and hope they take it down. Good luck!
