Friendly fan request for a sequel to “How to Swear Like a Steam Engine” about tugboat slang.
Err... I honestly don't know enough about tugboats or ships in general to have any idea. I would guess it's heavily influenced by human nautical slang and there would probably be a lot of language from the age of sail even among fleets of steam/diesel powered tugs, but beyond that I can't take an educated guess.
