Working on a lil pmv focusing on the apprentice lives of a few of my Duskclan ocs (mainly Doespring, Stoatbite, Lichenflower and Kowhaipaw). I’m hoping to finish it in a month or so :)
This shot features young cleric’s apprentice Doepaw with her sister Wētāpaw and newcomer ex-housecat Tūīpaw.

Tuikit - Tuipaw - Tuitail - Tuistar
Leader of Duneclan
Age: 87 Moons
Bonds: Duneclan
Kin: Mate of Dotterelclaw.
Personality: Tuistar is a rather anxious cat, even as leader. She relies heavily on her mate and deputy to help her. She used to be far more relaxed, until she was caught up in The Great Loss as a young apprentice.
The event rattled her badly, and it took a lot of hard work to get her warrior name. But the previous leader saw potential in her and made her deputy at a surprisingly young age. While her anxiety has never truly left her, she works hard to take care of her clan.
Her worst source of anxiety is the damage done during her capture; like all the other cats, she was spayed, and is now devastated that she and her mate can’t have kits of their own. Now that she’s getting near the age most warriors would begin to think of retiring, she’s concerned about her legacy, and what she’ll leave behind in the clan.
This better upload, third attempt let’s go. I finished these a while ago, but never got around to uploading them rip. Their shared backstory can be seen on my toyhouse :) https://toyhou.se/19007925.doespring
Some more information of Duskclan's clerics! I had a lot of fun drawing out these locations and I even gave the characters slight redesigns :)
I wrote out a ton of info on clerics so beware of a massive wall of text below!
-Moon Key: The Moon Key is Duskclan’s place of worship. It is a tiny rocky island across the coast from the Riversroots that can only be accessed when the tide is out revealing a sandbank stretching out to it from the shore. Clerics visit whenever the peak of the moon’s journey coincides with the low tide, meaning they often visit during the day. Only clerics, leaders can visit regularly, although all newly named warriors and apprentices will visit the Moon Key to seek Starclan’s approval for their new name.
-Cleric’s Hollow: The hollow is a semicircle of boulders in the centre of Duskclan’s camp, separated from it by a narrow stream. It contains a cave underneath two boulders which serves as both a den and as herb storage. Clan meetings are called from the boulder above this cave. It’s generally considered disrespectful to visit the hollow unless for injuries or for serious matters as Duskclan considers a cleric’s work to be incredibly important and not to be disrupted.

Clerics:
The clerics are the most important role within the clan as both healers through their medicinal herb knowledge as well as being considered the ‘voice’ of Starclan as mediums. The cleric’s duty is to interpret the will of Starclan through signs and prophecies and communicate this to the rest of the clan.
-Cleric apprentices: Cleric apprentices are chosen by head clerics and then approved by the leader. It is not necessary that they have a proven connection to Starclan prior to apprenticeship as they will be trained to interpret signs later in their apprenticeship. Once receiving their full names apprentices typically take over the bulk of the healing role; this includes collecting herbs, assessing the health of elders, kits and queens and healing small injuries and illnesses. However some cleric apprentices can be considered unsuitable for the role and never receive a full name as a cleric, such as Doespring who was stripped down to warrior apprentice status.
-Head clerics: Head clerics are the next in line for leadership. Depending on whether they have an apprentice determines the amount of responsibilities a head cleric will have. The main role of the head cleric is interpreting the will of Starclan, but if there is no fully named apprentice then the cleric also carries the healing role. Due to the size of this role head clerics will often take on part-time apprentices. These apprentices take on small parts of the healing role such as gathering and organizing herbs in between their warrior training. Mottledpelt and Stoatbite both briefly carried out this role during their apprenticeships.
-Leaders: Duskclan is deeply religious and considers it important that leaders are fully trained to communicate with Starclan. Although leaders do not traditionally carry out the roles of the clerics from leadership exceptions are sometimes made. Burningstar is an example as he continued to use his medicinal knowledge to heal on the battlefield as leader.
-Mates and Kits: It is allowed for a cleric to have a mate and kits under the circumstances that 1) there is at least one other cleric (head or apprentice) at the time and 2) they take a vow to Starclan to view any such attachments as of secondary importance to their cleric role.
Tuistar is considered a mysterious figure in the eyes of the clan. Little is known about his past, or the origin of his scars, and he confides very little in anyone outside of his mate Doespring, not even to his son, spending most time away from camp. Despite this, Tuistar is a well respected leader due to the duration of his leadership and the difficulties he’s managed to lead his clan out of.
