Would it be a good idea to start a GoFundMe account for help with tuition for my English Language Authorization certificate? In this case it’s a CLAD through CTEL (Certificate in Teaching English Language Learners).
There some universities offering the program for certification through extension classes, but they have all ranged between $2900-$3200 including textbooks for the total tuition. I wonder if it would be successful to ask for help? Even half of the tuition would help a bunch! After being jobless since February (then only working part time since May to support both myself and my husband), it has been rough!
What are your insights? Do you know of other routes to obtain this certification that would be helpful?
