I don't get to play within the joys of macro often enough... So, when @allenscameraorem offered to let @tamronusa come play with them at the @thankspoint Tulip Festival, it seemed, oh, unwise to turn it down. We loaned lenses and cameras to nearly 200 lucky people but also managed to find some time for ourselves... This was shot with the super rare SP 180mm Macro f/3.5. An older Tamron design that frankly still puts out unbelievable images, it's worth waiting for the autofocus to settle. It has a way of rendering even the most difficult colors naturally, with little if any bleed. Technically no longer available in the North American market, the SP 180 is an experience to shoot with and a unique challenge to master. Especially handheld, as it was in this case, on a @nikonusa #D610. This is a settling image, for me. Warm. This is a blossom that keeps a bit of sunset for itself. #withmytamron #SP180Macro #flora #flowerporn #thanksgivingpoint #visitutah #utahgraphy #beautahful #utahgram #flowersofinstagram #macroporn #jj_macro #tuliperfection #getcloser #close_up #telemacro #nikonusa #nikonian #handheld #allyellow #macronation #jj_color #duotone #planetmacro #180mm (at Thanksgiving Point Gardens)
