Tulkas is one of the few Ainur who would always don a physical form and move freely amongst the elves of Valinor, often joining them whenever there were feasts and frolics. During contests of strength and skill, a place of high honor is prepared for him, as he would always show up when news of such games reaches his ears.

Tulkas would often join Oromë while he hunted in Middle-Earth.

Each of these hunts would result in them going after fell beasts that served Melkor first. They would then turn their attention to a more regular hunt, and have a small feast afterward to celebrate their success.

Prior to courting and wedding Nessa, Tulkas seriously considered courting and wedding Meássë.

The Aini, however, refused his hand when he came calling. He was never given a reason why, but he accepted her refusal anyway.

Tulkas is one of only a handful of Ainur that has tattoos all over his fana. They're all intricate, with bears and scrollwork and even flowers depicted in gold and black ink. Some even detail certain life events, like him coming to Arda, his marriage to Nessa, and various feats of valor.
