i guess? glados was human once but i guess there arent a lot of female robots to pull reference from huh

I saw @clagreeflams do this so I figured I’d try one as well

1. Birds: This choice may seem strange but I’ve always admired birds and when I’m frustrated with my art I often find myself drawing wings or bird legs

2. Fashion: Fashion plays a BIG BIG ROLE in a lot of my artwork and I often draw directly from fashion magazines

3. Magical Girl anime: Magical girl anime hold a special place in my heart and again a huge influence on me

4. The fabulous artist @tumblino: her artwork is really pretty and especially her illustration of fashion. When I get frustrated with dress detailing she’s the first person’s art I look at (also if you have any issue with me using your art for this Tumblino I will take it down)

5. My little pony: It’s so colorful and cute, I often have episodes playing in the background as I draw

6. Cats: Something that shows up often in my work, a lot of my characters I give cat like traits to because I just love cats

7. History (also historical fashion): Often times when I’m feeling uninspired I look up online articles or documentaries about history and it helps fuel my creativity

8. Daria: Another show I like to keep on in the background as I draw, while it might not always be the best looking show I admire it’s art and it’s humor

9. Steven Universe: LOVE the art style, it hasn’t been around long but it definetly has been a huge influence on me. I absolutely adore the color and stylistic choices

10. Musicals: I often listen to musical soundtracks as I draw so I felt it needed to be put as an influence

11. Sailor Moon: Technically this has already been covered with magical girl anime but Sailor Moon was my first love and has been one of my biggest influences throughout my life so I thought it needed it’s own shoutout

12. The amazing artist @sully-s: Her use of colors and shape is great! It is really inspiring and she really seems to have a good hand of composition in a way that I’m still trying to learn (also sully-s if you don’t want me using this please let me know)

13. Pokemon: Another anime from my childhood, I remember spending hours endlessly trying to draw pokemon so I’m sure it has played a factor in my style development
