Tumblr Basic
It’s like basic, but tumblr edition. Usually, when something stops being a hipster thing (because the hipsters realise that everyone likes their original stuff now so it’s not unique enough for them), it becomes tumblr basic. This is when people start genuinely appreciating the things that were once only popular because nobody knew about them. For example, asthetics and vintage things were once hipster, but now the hipsters have started to like punk rock or emo shit, making vintage and asthetics tumblr basic. I myself am tumblr basic, and I don’t really mind who likes what because typewriters and long skirts with cute designs are fucking cool. There are some hipsters who believe that tumblr basic things are still unknown, until they see how many vinyls are sold out and start questioning their originality.
