Categorize Your Post In Tumblr
For those who do not know how other bloggers categorize their post, here's the answer! :)
1. Create a post but do not publish it yet. 2. On the lower part of the window, you'll see a tag symbol. 3. Type the name of your category on the encircled part shown in the image. As for the example, I have typed "tutorials, tumblrtutorials, sweeetposh, othertutorials" because those were the categories of my post.
4. In tumblr, these categories are called tags. 5.When you’re done typing all the tags you want. Click PUBLISH. 6. To view the category you just added, simply go to your address bar (it is where you write the URL of the page you want to visit) 7. Type your tumblr URL plus the tagname like this: http://tumblrURL.com/tagged/categoryname
ex. http://sweeetposh.tumblr.com/tagged/random http://sweeetposh.tumblr.com/tagged/themes
All the posts you have categorized under a certain tag will be shown.
8. To make the category clickable in your blog, simply copy the code below and paste it to wherever you want the link to appear in your theme.
<a href="http://yourtumblrURL.com/tagged/categoryname">Category Name</a>
