I'd like to take up word with IX
Okay so like⦠controversial opinion, but Iāve been thinking about it a lot recently while looking at comments on tmntās official accounts on various platforms and similar posts-
I feel like Rise! fans can honestly be a little entitled? Stuff like ājust bring back rise already, itās not that hard šā irk me because it IS that hard. If we want the same quality of animation that was in the show and movie they would have to hire Flying Bark Productions again and they are NOT cheap, plus are currently working on a bunch of projects. Plus trying to cast all the same VAās as before (keep in mind these VAās probably have schedules that stretch years into the future and probably couldnāt fit a new Rise! season in their schedules). As well as hiring all of the same writers again? Would we want them to get the same production team???
Idk, I adore Rise!, honestly I am obsessed with it⦠but I donāt think weāre getting a third season. It just doesnāt feel realistic. Iām all for continuing to advocate for a third season, but I wish that we could all do so in a more positive and respectful way instead of blindly commenting and posting, āBRING BACK RISE!!!!!ā and shitting on new content.
I get that a lot of these comments may be coming from younger fans, but overall I feel like these kinds of comments make us look rude and reflect badly on the fandom as a whole. I want a third season too, but Iām still very grateful that we got what we did. Rise! is such a special show and has so many dedicated and creative fans, and Iām so happy Iāve gotten to be a part of the fandom because itās genuinely made my life happier. Rise! was my first iteration and got me into tmnt and man, the tmnt hyperfixation has been one of the best things thatās happened to me in the past few years. Essentially, what Iām saying is that even if we donāt get a third season, we still have this community, and thatās fucking cool!!
Also, if you havenāt given Tales of the Teenage Mutant Ninja Turtles a chance, please do! Itās second season is coming out soon and in supporting the show youāre both supporting tmnt and animated shows as a whole (which really need to be advocated for š„ŗ). Its first season wasnāt the best, but itās still getting its footing and has hella potential!
hearts and kisses~

Last Song - Godslayer from HalaCG. I don't know much about Honkai Star Rail but her shit slaps. Would super recommend that, Goodnight, Sunlight, and Entertaining. They bop!
Favorite colors - Most shades of purple, 'cause purple. Pinks and reds. Really anything in that spectrum, though I hold a special place in my heart for Peacock Green and Peacock Blue from prismacolor's colored pencils. They're just so... Vibrant.
Currently Watching - I've been vaguely watching High Potential s2, as well as May I Ask For One Final Thing? and the entirety of the Hermitcraft 2026 Charity Fundraiser event.
Currently Reading - Project Hail Mary by Andy Weir. The movie was amazing, so I grabbed the book. It's been a real treat. Also 'The Villainess is a Marionette' because the art is just beautiful.
Current Obsession - I just played Sea of Thieves for the first time and I'm itching to get back in. Also my current D&D campaigns - Curse of Strahd and Songs of a Shattered World. I could yap for days about them.
Currently working on - A ridiculously long (210 pages worth) set of side stories and diaries for Curse of Strahd. Shit that proves my character was Evil All Along, yknow? Also it's fun to write.
Last google search: 34-9, I didn't have a calculator close by. Was for a d&d fight in a oneshot, checking my health.
Current desktop picture - a screenshot from 'GIRL' by Daoko. It's just cute art to the point I made a lil painting of it irl.
