A glimpse of what happened to the old medicine cat BirchRoot before he was discovered dead by his apprentice GroundPaw, after he didn't return from the woods while they visited the moonshine.

GroundPaw found the grizzly scene just as the sun began to rise after waking up alone next to the moonshine, her dreams that night had been oddly peaceful despite having been plagued by nightmares for the days leading up to the meeting with Starclan, she explained to ScreechStar that her mentor had told her to not worry and to go ahead without him while he went to investigate an unusual sound she heard from the woods when they exited the tunnels. She did so, grateful she wouldn't have to go into the dark woods. She told the clan that she fell asleep almost immediately after making it to the moonshine, and assumed that BirchRoot was sleeping beside her, she explained she had no idea what happened to her mentor but that upon finding the body StarClan sent a vision of a tall creature with a face like a full moon that she believes is what killed BirchRoot.

BirchRoot was buried in the clearing by the camp and ScreechStar mourned the loss of his last brother and declared that no one was to enter the woods on a full moon until they figured out what happened.

TunnelClan Acolyte Apprentice Tryouts

Introduction

Following the banishment of Wispcatcher, the time has come to seek out a new handful of Acolytes to treat the sick and wounded of TunnelClan! Now that Canaryshade has announced her intent to seek out new apprentices to train, acolyte tryouts have officially opened for TunnelClan and members are welcome to make and present character ideas for the newest recruits. There are a few rules to follow/heed that will be listed below, but for the most part, creative freedom is yours as always!  We look forward to seeing what kinds of characters you come up with for the role of acolyte apprentice in TunnelClan – just who will Canaryshade find training under her careful paws? And will she manage not to screw it up this time, unlike Wispcatcher’s unfortunate fate? These auditions are open to nonmembers to throw their hats into the ring! Unlike the rest of the group, acolyte apprentices as a high rank do have the expectation to be fairly active and involved with your Clan! Please read below about the tryout process

The last camp, TunnelClan introduction!

Before I start, this will (probably) be a series. Think of this as an allegiances or something. Important things will be included in some sort of way, so.

Lets get into TunnelClan's allegiances. (This Clan is an attempt of the last camp challenge from the clangen discord, nothing belongs to me.)

Tunnelstar (Old name: Tunnelthistle)

Tunnelstar is a 103 moon old tom that has white and brown fur with blue eyes. He is a perception cat that also likes to face danger whenever he can, but due to this, he lost 6 lives during battles, leaving him with only three. He is confident in his abilities, and holds a close connection to his clanmates.

(personality traits, Lax {not able to gain exp from defeating zombies}, and Careful {weapon break chance goes up to 1/4 instead of 1/2.}.)

Ravenjoy (Deputy)

Ravenjoy is a 48 moon old she-cat that is a long-furred black/ginger point calico with cobalt colored eyes. She is a willpower cat, and often takes many risks. She tends to escalate into more dangerous situations, often taking the more dangerous route when there is a peaceful one instead, though she can be very clever at times.

(Personality traits, destructive {Cannot help with building} and Agile {50/50 chance to take 1 less damage from being attacked}.)

Oddreed (Medic)

Oddreed is a 50 moon old dorsal-striped dark brown she-cat with blue eyes. She tends to be insecure at times, but she holds a lot of respect from her clanmates. She is very good at spotting herbs and prey, and that is what led for her to become a perception cat. She took on the role of medicine cat after the oldest medicine cat died whilst escaping from camp.

(Personality traits, Lax {Unable to get exp after defeating zombies} and Beefy {has 15 hp instead of 10, half hp for Oddreed is 7}.)

Grousestripe

Grousestripe is a 97 moon old long-furred white and pale tabby she-cat with cobalt eyes. She was one of the few older warriors to make it out of camp. She is very charismatic and able to talk her way out of situations. She also cares a lot about others, so she took upon the role of a Compassion cat to keep her clanmates happy.

(Personality traits, Sickly {Cannot be healed from being bitten or when they are at half health} and Crafty { +1 building material to whenever they are building. They may also help build without a weapon}.)

Swanjoy

Swanjoy is a 86 moon old long-furred speckled she-cat with gray eyes. She is the mentor of Coyotepaw, the only apprentice to escape with their life. She tends to be troublesome to the cats in power, and is also a very good hunter. She often tends to go out of her way to make trouble for other cats, and is very daring to prank the high ranked cats. She is a willpower cat that is very daring in her own terms.

(Personality traits, Sickly {Cannot be healed from being bitten or when they are half health} and Calming { +1 camp rationality per moon}.)

Joywool

Joywool is a 80 moon old unusually spotted she-cat with sunlit ice colored eyes. She is very charismatic and often goes out of her way to help teach other cats about anything they need to know. She tends to be very knowledgeable and lets her clanmates talk about their fears with her. She took on the role of a Compassion cat after Tunnelstar introduced the roles to the clan.

(Personality traits, Loud {+1 roll to the perception role for patrolling} and Crafty {+1Bm to whenever they are building, and can also help build without a weapon}.)

Sleepylotus

Sleepylotus is a 38 moon old pale gray tom with copper eyes. He tends to pick fights more often, and has a very short temper. He is very strong, so he chose to become a strength cat when Tunnelstar introduced the roles. He is also a very great fighter, often leading battles due to his strength.

(Personality traits, Selfish {-1 of a random rescource when they are in a patrol.} and calming {+1 camp rationality per moon}.)

Whirlfleck

Whirfleck is a 38 moon old speckled black and white tom with amber eyes. He tends to be oblivious and cannot read social cues well, and he often comes off as intimidating. He excels at fighting due to his strength, so he chose to become a strength cat when Tunnelstar introduced the system.

(Personality traits, Unapproachable {Decreases the quality of outsider when they join the clan} and Crafty {+1 BM whenever they build, can help build without a weapon}.)

Sparkshine

Sparkshine is a 13 moon old pale tabby she-cat with bronze eyes. She is very loyal and often speaks out for herself. She may get loud at times, but she is very quiet on patrols. She chose to become a Willpower cat due to her wanting to finish battles to the fullest, and she didn't want to have the chance to abandon her clanmates in a time of need.

(Personality traits, Gluttonous {Takes 2 prey to feed each moon} and Crafty {+1 BM to whenever they build, can help build without a weapon}.)

Hazelshard

Hazelshard is a 12 moon old black and white she-cat with hazel eyes. She can be childish at times, but she is also a great mediator in conversations. She chose to become a compassion cat because she believes she is great at speaking. Hazelshard likes helping other cats with their troubles, which makes the clan trust her a lot.

(Personality traits, Selfish {-1 random rescource whenever they go on patrol} and Careful {turns 1/2 chance of a weapon breaking upon use into 1/4 chance}.)

Coyotepaw

Coyotepaw is a 6 moon old brown tabby She-cat with green eyes. She is currently being mentored by Swanjoy. She is insecure but also oddly observant, which helped her escape from the zombies that broke into the camp. She chose to become a perception cat since she thinks her being observant could help the clan.

(Personality traits, Skittish {Always fails the panic check} and Agile {50/50 chance to take 1 less damage when attacked}.)

TunnelClan mourns the disappearance of the beloved apprentice ApplePaw. The cats of TunnelClan were startled awake before dawn when a terrified StormPaw ran into the tunnels yowling about a tall glowing monster that had attacked ApplePaw. Once the warriors heard what the apprentice was claiming they ran out of the tunnels in an attempt to find and rescue the young cat, they followed her scent to a clearing in the woods but when they arrived, they noted a small patch of red fur and strange tracks leading into the woods. ApplePaw was deemed dead by the warriors who saw the scene although StormPaw refuses to accept it and attempts to convince IceGlare to set up patrols to find her, which she adamantly refuses
