turbulentsei
masa voice no you're just a drag
“It’s okay-- you can be jealous. No one’s judgin, mini me.”
“I WILL SHOOT BOTH OF YOU IF YOU DON’T KNOCK IT OFF!”
"Yeah, I don't know how much you've heard, if anything, but basically it all boils down to: I know a Legendary Pokemon, and I'm not Warlord anymore." ( masa ofc )
“I haven’t heard anything yet, no.” Which was a relief, really. The more he pretended the island didn’t exist, the better he felt.
Of course, running into Masa again always dropkicked him back into that guilt pit.
“Good on you though, kid. I don’t fuckin’ blame you for leavin’.” The words are a bit hallow, but not from lack of sincerity. Everything was just........a lot.
“What are you up to then? Staying in the mainland? Got yourself a peach orchard?”
@turbulentsei | gin vc aw fuck guess i gotta adopt this one too
“Hey, uh,” aw fuck, c’mon Gin. You’d been to the same Warlord meetings. You fought in the same army as him. You knew his name. “Masa-somethin’, right?” Nailed it. “You’ve been in Greenleaf for a bit. Just wanted to make sure the Mōri were takin’ care of ya.”
Hard as it was to imagine the Mōri not taking care of somebody. Still, never hurt to check. For all what little Violight had suffered after the war, enough had happened to keep her too busy for how frequently she used to keep in touch with the Mōri. Hence the visit rather than a bundle of letters. Mune could keep things in check for a few days. He’d better.
