And Then This Happened
Dark Souls 3. Invading in Kiln of First Flame, when I messed up and fell off of a cliff, killing myself and ending my attempt at another Pale Tongue.
And then this happened.
Yes, indeed.
Questions:
-Was he sitting on the toilet playing video games, waiting for this moment to hop up, spin around and get this shot?
-Has this photo been sitting on his phone all this time in a special folder full of his other proud excremental achievements?
-Do his social media friends live in fear of his messages, all of them assuming that opening his correspondence may mean seeing this picture yet again?
-Does the fact that it’s pale and floating mean that there’s too much fat in his diet?
-Was this a happy accident, or did he reach in and arrange the still life for an optimal composition?
-Does he, or any of his family need to yell “Train!” as a warning to the crew filming their reality show?
-Is his PS4 controller encrusted with a mysterious discolored buildup that is growing in the spaces around the buttons thanks to him failing to wash his hands before returning to ‘work’?
I’m sure there are even more questions that I don’t want to waste(!) the energy to think about. I’m just going to celebrate the spirit of creative expression, and wash my eyes with vinegar until the image goes away.

KIRBY! YOU ARE 13 TODAY! HAPPY BIRTHDAY TO MY FURRY LITTLE BROTHER! Probably the dumbest dog I know, but I wouldn't change you for the world. From the moment I saw you I knew you belonged to us. The first time I held you, you were only four days old and fit in my hands. We grew up together. You've been a part of our family for over half my life, and it is hard for me to imagine life without you. Mornings on the bayou are always a little sweeter because I wake up with you in my bed, snuggled into my side. Thanks, little dude, for being my pup. Love you #Kirby #turdy #nationalloveyourpetday
