Just so you all know... I'm actually about to have a heart attack because of the elections... I wanna cry and shit like that 😭
i have so many things to say yet words cannot describe the feelings i've been feeling for the past couple of hours. i just don't want to live in a country where the president of the said country discriminates people so much and make them hate each other in several ways. love is love, and this is the message i will be spreading till the day i die. they say violance against women is "forbidden" but they were also the ones who banned a convention (istanbul convention) that protected the women of our country against violence. they created opportunities for abusers to abuse and kill the women in their lives even more because they don't get the punishment they deserve most of the time. everything they say is so against women's right. i am just so scared as a 20 year old woman in this country where people in power want unmarried woman to be "adopted" in some sick, twisted way. i hope everything will be okay in the future, but for now, it seems like these disgusting people will be in power for another 5 years.
